SERVING IN THE MICRONESIA GUAM MISSION
"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall." -Helaman 5:12

and off he goes...to the other side of the world!

Elder Kearl is on his way to Micronesia Guam.  They left the MTC at 300 am and he was allowed to call me from the airport.  It was so great to talk to him, even if it was only for a few minutes.  He was nervous and excited.  It is -30 in Calgary so I think it made him happy to know that Guam was 60 degrees warmer.  Lucky guy! He shared that even though the MTC was challenging, it was a great experience and he learned alot.  He was grateful he was so familiar with Preach my Gospel and the scriptures.  I am anxious to hear where he will be assigned to.  Bon Voyage!
